It is hard to believe it is June already! Leaves that were buds just a few weeks ago are now fully grown. There is a small forest outside my home - and now there is nothing but green - not even a small speck of sky shows through.
I started with the idea of leaves, leaves leaves, but it morphed a little along the way as ideas often do... The background is simply inked with a variety of blue and green distress inks. I then colored some Golden Light Molding Paste with various greens from Distress Paints and Ranger Color Dabbers. I used a new stencil from Joggles stencil line - Branches. (Have you see their stencils - check them out here - they are wonderful!).
I went through my ephemera box and found some great photos by Kathy Fox (she's in the greater Seattle area - unfortunately I don't have a site for her - if you know it, please leave a comment so I can give her better credit).
Also in the box were some Brenda Walton K & Company dimensional stickers - Flora and Fauna Birds and Leaves. The colors went perfectly with Kathy's photos.
A few leftover letters from another project to make J - U - N - E and the tag was done (and so early in the month - unbelievable!)

Great 3d effect on the letters (and flowers). June is busting out all over - the song came into my head immediately when I saw the letters.
