Reflections of Christmas - Day Eleven

Almost there - here's day eleven!  Something new again today - embossed foil, with alcohol inks and heat embossing on top of that.  Be sure to check out Linda Coughlin's version in a faux galvinzed finish on her Eleventh Tag of Christmas - really cool!

Inspirations from Linda's tag:  The embossed foil background, snowflakes and the sentiment,

Frame
  • Trim:  Bo Bunny Woodland Winter
  • Back Panel:  Crafters Workshop “Branches (Reversed)” Stencil
  • Decorative Cutout:  Tim Holtz Movers and Shapers  Ice Skate
  • Reflection:  Printed in MS Word, Segoe Print Font
  • Pediment:  Tim Holtz Pediment die
  • Metal Sentiment:  Tim Holtz Christmas Word Band

Here's a closeup of the Artist Trading Card.  It hangs from a hook under the pediment,

ATC:
  • Background:  Paper Stusio Snowflakes embossed on Ranger foil covered cardstock.  Alcohol inks applied to background, snowflakes heat embossed
  • Tim Holtz Snowflake
  • Tim Holtz Ice Skate Adornments
  • Stamped Sentiment: “Merry Christmas” - Bo Bunny Holiday Wishes

... almost there!!

Please visit Linda's blog to see the inspiration for my project, and of course go shopping at the Boutique!

Oh wow, April, your ATC background is sensational. I love the colors and patina on it. It is making me itch to get into my craft room and do something similar. And the way you have the skates dangling from the snowflake is inspired. So happy you have a been able to keep up with the challenge this year. The end is in sight!

Hugs,
Linda

I have to agree - incredible. The sheen, the shapes, the colors are just incredible. I really like the shades of green, yellow and teal. And those hanging skates - it so reminds me going skating when we were young.
