Laura Denison added another design to her Maple Street building series - it's a Pet Shop. This building is extra cute with all the little animals in the windows.
The building is made with BoBunny's "Happy Tails" collection. This is a fun paper line - lots of bright colors and pet themed graphics - perfect for this project.
I love the curved awning on this building. It really gives the building a special look.
This building features large display windows so that many animals can be on display. The left window has a shelf.
There are lots of places for the pets to play in the windows.

The right side is all about kittens and Laura even designed a cat climbing "tree" for the kittens to play on.
One thing that made this project extra special was that my niece made her own version right alongside of me. Although the buildings have the same structure and we used the same paper collection, hers has a different look because she chose different papers.
If you would like to make your own Pet Shoppe, please visit Laura Denison's site and look for the Pet Shoppe under the Maple Street patterns. Laura also has free videos that walk through all the construction details which makes it easy and fun to create the project.
The Mini Album
The lid comes off and there is room for a mini album.
We made ring bound books and designed pages with different simple animal shapes that were decorated with cutouts from the paper collection.
First we have a dog...
...then a little rabbit,
next is a cat...
and a little guinea pig,
and finally some fish.
