Reflections of Christmas - Day Four

Day four, and my accordion book of Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) is growing.  My inspiration, as usual was Linda Coughlin's  tag in her "12 Tags of Christmas", since I am playing along with the Funkie Junkie's 12 Tags of Christmas challenge - the fourth tag in her series.

Inspirations from Linda's tag:  The "Festive" background, the red rickrack, little heart, the deer and the sentiment (I used a word band with the same sentiment)

Frame
  • Trim:  Bo Bunny Woodland Winter
  • Back Panel:  Tim Holtz “Festive”
  • Decorative Cutout:  Tim Holtz Movers and Shapers  Small Deer
  • Reflection:  Printed in MS Word, Segoe Print Font
  • Pediment:  Tim Holtz Pediment die
  • Metal Sentiment:  Tim Holtz Christmas Word Band

Here's a closeup of the Artist Trading Card.  It hangs from a hook under the pediment,

ATC:
  • Background:  Paper Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz “Reindeer Games”
  • Reindeer:  Fussy Cut from above stamp and layered
  • Sentiment Sticker and Heart Sticker: Simple Stories “Handmade Holiday”
  • Extra Snowflakes:  Detritus from Martha Stewart “Aspen Snowflake” edge punch
  • Red “Rickrack”:  Handmade with pinking shears

... and now the four together.

Please visit Linda's blog to see the inspiration for my project, and of course go shopping at the Boutique!

The red color on this one gives it that special Christmassy look. Love the red rickrack especially as you thought to only put on two sides so it looks great but doesn't overwhelm. Detritus from Martha Stewart indeed. LOL. Onwards.

I love the warm golden tones with the red, really pretty! Beautiful background and so cool that you cut your own rick rack with pinking shears! our accordion looks amazing already. Love the uniform layout. You are going to have such a special home decor piece which this is all finished. Great to have you back for Tag #4.

Hugs,
Linda
