Here I am with the last building in my Winter Village - Building #12, Tomorrow I will post a recap of the entire village.
I've had a super fun time playing along with Linda Coughlin's Fifth Annual 12 Tags of Christmas - Funkie Junkie Style challenge.
It's been especially fun to see how her tags have inspired a variety of different projects from other crafters who have posted their responses to the challenge each week.
So let's start with the details of Building # 12 ...
Inspirations from Linda's Week 12 Tag: Background Technique, Pine Boughs, Pocket, Noel
Blank Canvas Building: Building A
I started out with white cardstock.
I used the wrinkle free Distress Ink techniques with some Tumble Glass ink.
Then I sprayed each panel with both silver and white.
Next I used some silver paper andcut out three different evergreen boughs using dies from Tim Holtz "Holiday Greens" thinlet die set.
I also used "noel" from another TH thinlets die set.
I left room on the bottom of two panels for snow banks.
I cut some snow banks out of glittery cardstock.
I used one of TH Metallic Sticker Labels with one of his rub-ons - "warm wishes" - and tucked that behind the snow bank.
Here are the panels...
And here's where this building fits into the village.
I added some Tim Holtz Tinsel Twine around the top, and as you can see I took this photo after I completed the base.
Check back tomorrow for a post on the completed village with lots more photos and a video.
So that's my last building done and I'll post a link on the challenge page.
If you'd like to see the inspiration for my building, see Linda's blog post - 12 Tags of Christmas - Tag #12.
And check out all the great stuff at the boutique...

Merry Christmas!

I'll be back to see each up close and to leave a real comment but I just had to say "WOW!"
Another awesome addition to your village, April! The Tumbled Glass background is beautiful and the silvery die cut greenery adds such a marvelous touch. Love the way you used your snowbank as a pocket too - very clever. Your village is amazing. I'm so pleased that you were able to play along with the 12 Tags of Christmas Funkie Junkie Style again this year. Congratulations on crossing the finish line. Best of luck in the gift certificate drawing too!
Hugs,
Linda
